Cruising through Ancient Caria & Ionia

The olive-clad theatre at NysaFly from London to join our late summer cruise, this time around the shores of ancient Caria and Ionia, where there are some of the finest Classical sites in the Mediterranean.

Mountain cities and ancient ports

We visit sites like Caunos, with its famous rock-cut tombs, Loryma and Kasara, with their Hellenistic echoes, the haunting site of Knidos (IMA’s MD excavated here years ago!), Alinda Carian tombs at Caunosand Labraunda high in the Carian Mountains, Nysa and the beautiful site of Aphrodisias in the fertile Meander Valley, and finally Ephesus, the jewel of ancient Asia Minor.

Classic yachts

We shall again be using our own private yachts for the journey - classic ships for a classic journey. They are comfortable and spacious, each of the cabins with private bathroom, and Knidos from the Acropoliseach with our attentive crew to cater for your every need.

And don’t forget to relax

And for those who enjoy the cruising life there is also plenty of time for relaxation and swimming ... and the excellent cuisine.
