| Our MD became involved in travel in
1971 – designing educational tours to Turkey
– in those days truly an exotic destination.
Under the Temple World banner we began offering
global tours in 1984, organizing exclusive journeys
with an educational twist to exciting parts of the
world.
We feature itineraries where we have travelled
- even the most remote byways - and enjoyed the
land, the people, the scenery, the wildlife and
the history - where we know the geography, geology,
archaeology, languages, and cultures. We've been
there ... many times!
Uniquely many of our tours are operated by our
own companies overseas, where we have direct control
of the quality, content and cost of our tours,
with no intervening agents.
Be it our cruises in Turkey or Greece or Antarctica, or our
tented African safaris, we try to impact the environment
as little as possible, leaving the natural domain
as we found it. Take only photographs - leave
