For over thirty years, Temple World has created expert-led small group tours for prestigious institutions in the UK and USA.
We’re proud to have worked with organisations as diverse as the Royal Geographical Society, The Smithsonian, MacArthur Foundation and the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol and Durham. We’re a fiercely independent and unashamedly small specialist operator. Our ethos is quality over quantity, so we only design and operate a small number of tours per year to keep standards high.
Each carefully designed tour we operate is exclusive to the alumni or members of the institution it was created for, with family and friends also welcome. Whether it’s a special one-off tour for the key donors and board members of a museum or charity, or a programme of exciting travel options for a university alumni travel programme, Temple World has the expertise.
When designing tours, our ethos is to provide a journey which are exciting, entertaining and above all educational. Founded by Archaeologist Dr David Price Williams, Temple World has always placed learning at the heart of every trip. With themes ranging from ancient history and botany to geology and zoology, our tours delve deeper than any standard tour, satisfying curiosity and inspiring life-long learning.

Expert Lecturer
All our small group alumni tours are accompanied by a university lecturer as well as local guides, with illuminating lectures given throughout the tour to enrich understanding of the destination.
